Desparate McCain Resorts to Lies, Smears, and Nazi Tactics

The smear experts of the GOP would make Joseph McCarthy blush. The Modern GOP no longer conducts its smears through 'proxies' like the 'Swift Boat Veterans". The Palin-McCain ticket now openly indulges slander, smears, lies, bullshit and extremism. It proves what I have been saying about the GOP at least since that party's incompetent attempt to impeach Bill Clinton.

One hopes that however ruthless, however 'nuts' the GOP has become, there are still decent people in America capable of sorting out smears from facts, propaganda from platform. The GOP has, in fact, supported our most un-American of Presidents --George W. Bush, who called our Constitution that "Goddamned piece of paper". The GOP supported Bush who arrogated unto himself powers that our founders never intended to grant a "President".

I can guarantee you that every repetitive phrase has been focus group pre-tested and 'vetted' before it is rolled out for national consumption. This is a NAZI propaganda. McCain's Campaign of Lies and Smears

It is hard to imagine how this type of message actually helps the McCain campaign. For starters, there has been a relatively respected rule to leave candidate's wives out of campaign attacks. Moreover, there is already a deep resentment towards the severity of the political attacks McCain and his surrogates have launched against Barack Obama. Having a like-minded member of Congress essentially call for a witch hunt within Congress isn't the practical-minded message that the Arizona Republican wants out there.

By design, GOP smears, worse than McCarthy, subvert the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of free speech and free association. The most recent media smear campaigns differ fundamentally with common GOP smear jobs and libels. Palin-McCain are openly putting their names on the pack of lies. Even so, the 'invisible hand' of McCain and the crooked GOP 'leadership' to whom he owes his loytalty, are behind every effort to drive home the racist, bigoted point that because Obama is 'black' he is a 'Muslim Terrorist'. It is a bald-faced lie and McCain knows that it is a bald faced lie.

Obama's father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was a radical Muslim who migrated from Kenya to Jakarta, Indonesia. He met Obama's mother, Ann Dunham—a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas—at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Obama, Sr. and Dunham divorced when Barack, Jr. was two. Obama's spinmeisters are now attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came from his father and that influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya immediately following the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Dunham married another Muslim, Lolo Soetoro who educated his stepson as a good Muslim by enrolling him in one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools. Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim.

--The Republican smear campaign against Barack Obama has begun

The GOP is not a 'political party' in the sense that it is built up from popular, grassroots interests or genuine opinions. The GOP represents the interests of about one percent of the US population: the RICHEST one percent. It is this increasingly tiny elite that controls at least 90 percent of the nation's wealth. It is this elite that Bush referred to as his 'base'. McCain, meanwhile, has gone to bed with the usual suspects and he's done it for the money! [See also: Psycho Christians and the media]

Let's put this bluntly: unless you are a billionaire, the GOP does not really give a crap about you. It does not give a crap about whether you have a job with which to support your family. It is George W. Bush --who called our Constitution that "Goddamned piece of paper" --who is perhaps the biggest terrorist in world history. His war upon the people of Iraq has benefited an infinitesimally small percentage of the US population but it is paid for by every US citizen who pays income tax.

Here's another newsflash: much of Bush's base has escaped paying income tax entirely. If you still have not gotten the picture --YOU are expected to pay for this war crime though ONLY one percent or less have or will ever benefit from it. Those benefiting are military industrialist robber barons and their paid shills [war whores] on K-street.

I would advise the GOP not to insult the intelligence of readers with the utterly stupid idea that it is 'unpatriotic' to oppose the financing of wars of naked aggression with acts of grand theft.

Rather --George W. Bush is guilty of mass murder and high treason. Capital Crimes! A first year law student could prosecute the case. But, with any luck, Vince Bugliosi himself may make his murder case against Bush in a bona fide court of law. If Republicans believe that it is 'unpatriotic' to try mass murderers for mass murder, then let Bachman tell it to the judge --a hangin' judge.

GOP majorities in Congress ensured passage of Bush's Patriot Act, in fact, the destruction of Constitutionally guaranteed American freedoms. Nothing said by Bush or his GOP support with regard to the crime of 911 is true. There is nothing 'American' or patriotic about Bush's decision to quash every investigation of this crime of mass murder. There is nothing patriotic about deliberate and demonstrable lies. Bureau of Labor Statistics tell the story: during GOP regimes elites grew richer even as most citizens suffered from increased unemployment, weaker currency, and well-timed recessions.

• Any Democratic President has presided over greater economic growth and job creation than any Republican President since World War II.
• Job creation was worst under a Republican, Bush Sr, at 0.6% per year; best under a Democrat, Johnson, at 3.8% per year.
• Economic growth under President Carter was far greater than under Reagan or Bush Sr. In fact, economic growth in general was greater under Johnson, Kennedy, Carter, and Clinton than under Reagan or Bush.
• The job creation rate under Clinton was 2.4% significantly higher Ronald Reagan's 2.1% per year.
• The "top performing Presidents" by this standard, in order from best down, were Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Kennedy. The "worst" were Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush being worst with Reagan in the middle.
• Half of jobs created under Reagan were in the public sector--some 2 million jobs added to the Federal Bureaucracy.
• Reagan tripled the national debt and left huge deficits to his successor.
• By contrast, most of the jobs created on Clinton's watch were in the private sector.

It is, therefore, reasonable to conclude that the leadership of the GOP in collusion with GOP regimes and Wall Street insiders are the real terrorists. Certainly --Bush's real body count is much higher than any 'Arab' terrorist real or suspected. Bush's war of aggression against a civilian population in Iraq is an act of bloody terrorism, a war crime under the Geneva Convention, Nuremberg Principles, and --in fact --a capital crime under US Codes, Title 18, Section 2441.

Following the Holocaust, the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg called the waging of aggressive war "essentially an evil thing . . . to initiate a war of aggression . . . is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole."

Bush's aggressive war against the people of Iraq promises to kill many more American soldiers and untold numbers of Iraqis. Nuremberg prosecutor Justice Jackson labeled the crime of aggression "the greatest menace of our times." More than 50 years later, his words still ring true.

Recriminations --the source of many interesting sidelights --are inevitable whenever any group is forced by circumstance to confront the consequences of its failures. Reagan loyalists, for example, blamed Bush Sr's much maligned tax hike for the recession which occurred under Bush Sr. Yet, Bush had not signed the tax hike into law until the recession was well underway. The cause of the recession was a huge deficit left Bush by Reagan.

The height of Republican absurdity was the attempt by Republicans to take credit for the Clinton prosperity. We were asked to believe yet another fairy tale that the bad effects of Reagan's tax cut for the wealthy in 1982 were to be felt in the form of a 16 month recession then, but the "good" effects of the same tax cut were not to be experienced for a full generation later under Clinton!

Now let's talk about one of the more transparent frauds ever perpetrated by a corrupt party: John McCain, who claims to be a war hero. According to a fellow POW, John McCain was never tortured or mistreated. Speaking on the condition of anonymity for fear of what the new Republican Nazi Party, might do to him and his family, he said, "Hell, they didn't have to torture McCain. He talked incessantly. We didn't nickname him "Songbird" because he was cute or had a pleasant voice…"

I've known McCain for years and while he's a lot of things, a straight talker he is not. Even though I was shot down twice in Vietnam, I wasn't captured. The records show that most pilots did their very best to avoid being captured, and those who were, carried out their orders according the United States Military Code of Conduct, especially Article III. There is no record of John McCain trying to escape or aiding others in their attempt to escape. I also know that like me, McCain is one sick old man. He's eaten up with PTSD and hate, and it's not the North Vietnamese, North Koreans or even the Taliban he hates. He hates Americans for leaving him to rot in a POW camp. Evidently, the Pentagon didn't believe McCain warranted being rescued to the degree that McCain believed.

After Bush wiped the floor with McCain in 2004, it was as if Merlin the Magician had waved his magic wand over McCain and said some magic words; McCain instantly became Bush's butt boy.

A former prisoner of war, McCain has become less visible on the issue of detainee treatment since becoming a presidential candidate. And the list goes on and on and on.

In response to Pearl Harbor, FDR and Congress declared war on the 'Empire of Japan' and on HItler's 'Third Reich'! The date of Pearl Harbor was December 7, 1941. VJ day was September 2, 1945 --about half as long as we've been mired in Iraq. There is no end in sight. McCain is the candidate of 'stay the course'. There is no course to stay. The attack and invasion of Iraq was an act of bloody terrorism! Yet --McCain openly supports paid smears that call Obama a 'terrorist'. If McCain were not a nationally known liar and politician, he would be sued for every penny in court.

Who remembers McCain's fraudulent visit to Iraq and the lies McCain told about how safe it was to walk the streets of Iraq?

McCain Strolls Through Baghdad Market, Accompanied By 100 Soldiers, 3 Blackhawks, 2 Apache Gunships»

Sen. John McCain strolled briefly through an open-air market in Baghdad today in an effort to prove that Americans are “not getting the full picture” of what’s going on in Iraq.

NBC’s Nightly News provided further details about McCain’s one-hour guided tour. He was accompanied by “100 American soldiers, with three Blackhawk helicopters, and two Apache gunships overhead.” Still photographs provided by the military to NBC News seemed to show McCain wearing a bulletproof vest during his visit. Watch it:

McCain recently claimed that there “are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could walk through those neighborhoods, today.” In a press conference after his Baghdad tour, McCain told a reporter that his visit to the market today was proof that you could indeed “walk freely” in some areas of Baghdad.

Let's face the glaring fact about McCain: he's a liar!

The lies about Obama are to expected from the GOP. In response to 911, the GOP regime of George W. Bush has yet to tell a single truth about either 911 or Iraq. He has, instead, demagogued 911 in order to wage a perpetual war, assume dictatorial powers, crackdown on dissent, charge his political opponents with being 'terrorists', shredding the Bill of Rights, the separation of powers, habeas corpus and other defining characteristics of 'Democracy'. He has created a dictatorship and, by law, merely pointing that out, probably makes me a terrorist. In my defense, Bush was a TRAITOR first!In simpler times, TRAITORS were hanged as were Nazi war criminals.

Not only is Bush a traitor to this nation, not only has Bush 'waged war' upon the people of the US, he has exported terrorism and made it worse world wide. This should have been expected. 'Terrorism is Always Worse Under GOP Regimes'.

Failed GOP policies cause terrorism. According to FBI stats, terrorism has been worse under GOP regimes at least since 1980. During a period of two years, terrorist attacks against the United States increased. Certainly, the civilians of Iraq must considered George W. Bush to be the world's No. 1 terrorist. And they are correct in doing so.

The GOP needs both war and terrorism to prop up utterly failed regimes. And by 'failed', I mean that they are failed by my standards and standards that should be yours as well. I hardly call policies that enrich the already rich 'successful'. I am not interested in sophistry that makes of Bush a 'success' because he enriched his crooked base. That's not success. That's corruption.

George W. Bush, personally and officially, must answer to charges that he committed high treason and capital crimes, but also those who provided him with guilty 'material support' knowing that they would be enriched by his treasonous and murderous adventures against the innocent civilians of Iraq! Bush was bought and paid for by a tiny, ruling elite and Bush has represented only their interests. The rest of us were sold-out. There are two terms for this: 'high treason' and 'tyranny'! Both Bush and his financial supporters are guilty and should be tried in US and international courts.

(a) Offense. - Whoever provides material support or resources or conceals or disguises the nature, location, source, or ownership of material support or resources, knowing or intending that they are to be used in preparation for, or in carrying out, a violation of section 32, 37, 81, 175, 229, 351, 831, 842(m) or (n), 844(f) or (i), 930(c), 956, 1114, 1116, 1203, 1361, 1362, 1363, 1366, 1751, 1992, 1993, 2155, 2156, 2280, 2281, 2332, 2332a, 2332b, 2332f, or 2340A of this title, section 236 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 (42 USC. 2284), or section 46502 or 60123(b) of title 49, or in preparation for, or in carrying out, the concealment of an escape from the commission of any such violation, or attempts or conspires to do such an act, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both, and, if the death of any person results, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life. A violation of this section may be prosecuted in any Federal judicial district in which the underlying offense was committed, or in any other Federal judicial district as provided by law.

(b) Definition. - In this section, the term "material support or resources" means currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safehouses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel, transportation, and other physical assets, except medicine or religious materials.

Cases and Codes : US Code : Title 18 : Section 2339A. Providing material support to terrorists

Bush's war of aggression against the people of Iraq was an act terrorism --even under the terms of the Patriot Act. It is also a violation of US Codes, Title 18, Section 2441!

(a) Offense.— Whoever, whether inside or outside the United States, commits a war crime, in any of the circumstances described in subsection (b), shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for life or any term of years, or both, and if death results to the victim, shall also be subject to the penalty of death.

Is McCain naive or complicit? Both! McCain is naive for falling for the GOP line of bullshit. He is complicit because, like Faust, he sold his soul. But that assumes he had one.

McCain was trashed and dragged through the mud by rabid, fanatical Bushie fundamentalists down south, a land of red states and redder necks. But don't shed any tears for McCain who recovered from the sucker punch just in time to play kiss up to the Bush gang of traitors! Don't waste your time with a modern Faust, a party whore who literally lined up to kiss Bush's ass, pretending all the while that the emperor was fully dressed. Unlike Faust, however, Party Whores cannot expect redemption at the end of a long poem, only ignominy at the end of a human tragedy. But that is only a part of the many crimes that will be charged George W. Bush and those who knowingly provided him with 'material support'.

(d) Common Article 3 Violations.—

(1) Prohibited conduct.— In subsection (c)(3), the term “grave breach of common Article 3” means any conduct (such conduct constituting a grave breach of common Article 3 of the international conventions done at Geneva August 12, 1949), as follows:

(A) Torture.— The act of a person who commits, or conspires or attempts to commit, an act specifically intended to inflict severe physical or mental pain or suffering (other than pain or suffering incidental to lawful sanctions) upon another person within his custody or physical control for the purpose of obtaining information or a confession, punishment, intimidation, coercion, or any reason based on discrimination of any kind.

(B) Cruel or inhuman treatment.— The act of a person who commits, or conspires or attempts to commit, an act intended to inflict severe or serious physical or mental pain or suffering (other than pain or suffering incidental to lawful sanctions), including serious physical abuse, upon another within his custody or control.

(C) Performing biological experiments.— The act of a person who subjects, or conspires or attempts to subject, one or more persons within his custody or physical control to biological experiments without a legitimate medical or dental purpose and in so doing endangers the body or health of such person or persons.

(D) Murder.— The act of a person who intentionally kills, or conspires or attempts to kill, or kills whether intentionally or unintentionally in the course of committing any other offense under this subsection, one or more persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including those placed out of combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause.

(E) Mutilation or maiming.— The act of a person who intentionally injures, or conspires or attempts to injure, or injures whether intentionally or unintentionally in the course of committing any other offense under this subsection, one or more persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including those placed out of combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause, by disfiguring the person or persons by any mutilation thereof or by permanently disabling any member, limb, or organ of his body, without any legitimate medical or dental purpose.

(F) Intentionally causing serious bodily injury.— The act of a person who intentionally causes, or conspires or attempts to cause, serious bodily injury to one or more persons, including lawful combatants, in violation of the law of war.

(G) Rape.— The act of a person who forcibly or with coercion or threat of force wrongfully invades, or conspires or attempts to invade, the body of a person by penetrating, however slightly, the anal or genital opening of the victim with any part of the body of the accused, or with any foreign object.

(H) Sexual assault or abuse.— The act of a person who forcibly or with coercion or threat of force engages, or conspires or attempts to engage, in sexual contact with one or more persons, or causes, or conspires or attempts to cause, one or more persons to engage in sexual contact.

(I) Taking hostages.— The act of a person who, having knowingly seized or detained one or more persons, threatens to kill, injure, or continue to detain such person or persons with the intent of compelling any nation, person other than the hostage, or group of persons to act or refrain from acting as an explicit or implicit condition for the safety or release of such person or persons. ...

Bush and what is commonly referred to as the Military/Industrial complex, consisting of the US military apparatus and the various 'military contractors' who maintain lobbies and offices in Washington DC, undertook a war of naked aggression against the people of Iraq. Every 'justification' for the 'war' has since been proven to have been fraudulent in every respect. Colin Powell's presentation to the United Nations, for example, was a deliberate fraud consisting of ten year old satellite photos, a plagiarized student paper, and outright lies, obviously concocted by the White House. Who else?

There were NO WMD! In every other respect, Saddam Hussein was not then nor was he ever an 'imminent threat' to the security of the United States or its citizens. Therefore, by law, the US attack and invasion of Iraq was and remains a war crime aggravated each additional hour that the US remains on Iraqi soil. Bush's order to attack and invade is a capital crime under US Codes and is a war crime under international law and conventions to which the US is bound by treaty and law.
