However, I'm afraid there is still a large number of folk who who have not yet grasped the magnitude nor the significance of Bush's power grab. I hate to sound pessimistic, but until many more folk at last grasp the extent and significance of Bush's power grab, nothing will change. I hope you are correct and that he is held to account should he dare cancel the elections.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04598093941551759917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19580203.post-44372778370933919732008-05-19T23:23:00.000-07:002008-05-19T23:23:00.000-07:00He obviously can't run or hide. I believe he will...He obviously can't run or hide. I believe he will call off the elections. He'll have a revolution on his hands if he does but the alternative is The Hague Court and a long fall with a short rope.

If he calls off the elections, everyone in a uniform is our enemy. The Old Hippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16959371621660362963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19580203.post-65502830887019161282008-05-18T13:42:00.000-07:002008-05-18T13:42:00.000-07:00WindHarps said...Even if he is allowed to walk out...WindHarps said...

Even if he is allowed to walk out of the White House as an Orwellian-made hero to 28% of the people (who follow like mentally handicapped sheep), the efforts to reveal him (and his cohorts) for what they have done and are continuing to do will not cease.

I like your attitude. Indeed, Bush will have left behind such a disaster, it may take generations to undo.

Even without Bush in the White House, some 28 percent of the population (as you point out) have learned ABSOLUTLELY nothing from this 'experience'. Their idea of 'changing direction' is to make it worse. We think rightly that Bush is a 'state absolutist' in the worst 'Hegelian' sense of the term. But his adoring flock of sheep will work to replace him with someone EVEN WORSE!

The real enemy of the Constitution is the GOP!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04598093941551759917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19580203.post-9911058633702074502008-05-18T09:11:00.000-07:002008-05-18T09:11:00.000-07:00Video response:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fZD...Video response:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fZDm1nSjAM

I have responded previously with the above video to a different post. However, it relates significantly. Even if he is allowed to walk out of the White House as an Orwellian-made hero to 28% of the people (who follow like mentally handicapped sheep), the efforts to reveal him (and his cohorts) for what they have done and are continuing to do will not cease.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
