She was either ignorant and honest and thus voted wrongly or she was smart and evil and thus voted wrongly. I can't find another explanation for it.

Unfortunately, yer average gun 'n' bible totin' goof-off gopper, that peculiar cluster of halleleuliah humpers who wander the world with their thumbs in their bums and their minds in neutral; these zeitgeist zombies would rather know who is hot and who's not on American Idol.

They will be the death of us all.

My kingdom, my kingdom for a..... to stick a philosophical fork in their butts, and turn 'em over till they're self revolutionary. I am very close to giving up on the lot of them. Patton said that if he were attacked by Nazis behind him and Russians in front, he would attack in both directions. This forum knows how I feel about Bush and his crooked right wing. But, lately, I am sorely disappointed in the American "left". Life in the center is unbearable.

Liberality said...

It is a pleasure to read the truth somewhere in this country.

Thanks, Liberality. She's part of the problem. Be nice if "Fat Albert" Gore decides to get a wriggle on. Sure is a long campaign, mind you, the stakes are rather high. Jeffersonian Democracy, the accelerated extinction of species, including a very bad animal, Homo Sap., that sort of thing.

Unfortunately, yer average gun 'n' bible totin' goof-off gopper, that peculiar cluster of halleleuliah humpers who wander the world with their thumbs in their bums and their minds in neutral; these zeitgeist zombies would rather know who is hot and who's not on American Idol.

My kingdom, my kingdom for a..... to stick a philosophical fork in their butts, and turn 'em over till they're self revolutionary.
Fuck the horse!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19580203.post-30637243471158392772007-07-21T10:31:00.000-07:002007-07-21T10:31:00.000-07:00PatriotessDame said...I'm a Republican...(only sta...PatriotessDame said...

I'm a Republican...(only staying there to vote Ron Paul, so I'll now call myself a Ron Paul Republican.

I've often called Ron Paul the last "honest" Republican. But, in fact, Paul is not really a Republican. He's a "Libertarian". Certainly, I agree with Paul with regard to Bush but I cannot support his Presidential bid. He is altogether too conservative with regard to education, health care, and, as I have learned, he opposes Social Security which I consider to be the US government's biggest success, if not it's ONLY success.

Contrary to what SS opponents will tell you, SS actual turns a profit. That the "profit" is literally "stolen" from the pockets of those to whom that money was promised to pay current expenses is NOT a failure of the program, not a fault of the program or its architects. Rather, SS seems to be the victim of its own success. If it were not for a "social security trust fund" raided habitually to cover current expenses, the US government might have gone belly up a long time ago.

Shame on our demogogues, shame on the Washington establishment, shame on the liars of all the parties!

Republicans are, by far, the most egregious offenders but, sadly, the US government itself is the Ponzi scheme --not Social Security unfairly criticized because it is expected not only to pay its own way but that of every other government program --primarily the huge bills that are run up by the Military/Industrial complex. Halliburton and Blackwater, I am sure, gets paid when others stand in line. When the other sources run dry (as they often do) our "government" just helps itself to the monies paid into SS.

If the GOP should succeed in turning SS into a "privatized SCHEME" run by slick talkers from Wall Street, it will have killed the goose that laid the Golden Egg. They will have killed of their a bogey man which has been very useful to them over the years. They won't have Social Security to kick around anymore.

The Military/Industrial complex is a leech, a blood sucking parasite. The US has not made a lousy bood soaked dime murdering folk in Iraq --yet we, the people, foot the bill and, for our efforts, our crooked government steals the monies that by rights and by law are "earmarked" for payout to retirees.

The only people who have made money from the murder of some one million Iraqis are the contractors and bureaucrats who, together, make up the MIC. They have made out like the bandits they truly are. This is legalized fraud and grand larceny on a scale that would have made Roman Emperors blush.

The people go along with this unholy marriage of Ponzi scheme meets Murder, Inc. because it is fallaciously believed that the contracts awarded will trickle down. If that were so, income disparities in this country would have disappeared years ago. That didn't happen. In fact, the rich have gotten much, much richer and the poor have very nearly fallen off the scale, robbed of work, future, and self-esteem by unworkable GOP visions of a fascist America.

Anyway, I'm with you. Well done piece.

Thanks and welcome to the "Cowboy".

check him out on YouTube, C-span, openly exposing these jerks and many of their treasonous, tyrannical and UNAmerican acts, for years.

I support his efforts on this front. I just cannot support his Presidential bid. But, as long as Paul refrains from what has become typical GOP criminality and outright election theft, I will defend Paul's right to run and to put forward his platform. What's wrong with this country is the loss of true debate in which opponents may disgree but do so agreeably. There was a period of almost 20 years, leading up to Bush v Gore, in which the GOP pioneered the politics of attack, smear, and "swift boat". This development has all but destroyed the last vestiges of Democracy.

Google "A Republic if you can keep it Ron Paul".Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04598093941551759917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19580203.post-65897771067158527862007-07-21T06:49:00.000-07:002007-07-21T06:49:00.000-07:00I'm a Republican...(only staying there to vote Ron...I'm a Republican...(only staying there to vote Ron Paul, so I'll now call myself a Ron Paul Republican.
