Bush desperately seeking World War III

by Len Hart, The Existentialist Cowboy

At a recent press briefing Bush was asked about Vladimir Putin's plans to hold on to power when his term runs out. Bush smirked and quipped: "I've been planning that myself." We should take Bush at his word. We should take that remark just as seriously as his recent veiled threat of World War III. We should take it as seriously as we should have taken his remark about how much easier it would all be "...if this was a dictatorship!"
So I told people [European leaders] that if you're interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in ensuring Iran not gain the capacity to develop such weapons.

--George W. Bush, Sociopath-in-Chief

How seriously should we take Bush's offhand remarks? His quips and unguarded remarks are the only truths to come out of his mouth. That applies to sinister references to summary executions in his 2003 State of the Union address: "Let's just say they are no longer a threat to the United States of America." It applies as well to his wistful longing for "dictatorship". Certainly, Bush is articulate only when he speaks of death, torture, vengence, warfare, execution, or punishment. He never stumbles, he never struggles to find the right word to describe pain, death or suffering!!

More recently, the temporal proximity of his "warnings" of WWIII and his "quip" about staying in power after his term, may be clues to what is in fact talked about inside the Oval Office.
Despite the president's occasional contempt for the law, THREAT LEVEL doesn't believe that he's going to declare a state of emergency and cancel the 2008 election. But in July, we filed some FOIA requests anyway. We asked five Justice Department offices for documents produced or revised after August 2001 "addressing the feasibility, advisability or lawfulness of deferring, rescheduling or canceling a US national election."

Bush Quips He Might Stay in Power (Threat Level Plays Along

Simply, the mechanisms by which Bush achieves his permanent dictatorship are already in place. Another terrorist attack will do the trick. [See How a Second Terrorist Attack Will Benefit George W. Bush] Measured against our standard, the Bush administration is a catastrophe. Measured against Bush's hidden agenda, he is very near to achieving what Richard Nixon could not --an absolute dictatorship in the United States. That means, of course, that Bush will have reduced Congress to a debating club, the Supreme Court to a mere advisory panel. Sadly, it is SCOTUS who helped write themselves out of a real job. Fools!
The most ominous new development is the Bush administration's push to name the Iranian Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organization.

"The U.S. has designated any number of states over the years as state sponsors of terrorism," says Leverett. "But here for the first time the U.S. is saying that part of a government is itself a terrorist organization."

This is what Leverett and Mann fear will happen: The diplomatic effort in the United Nations will fail when it becomes clear that Russia's and China's geopolitical ambitions will not accommodate the inconvenience of energy sanctions against Iran.

--The Secret History of the Impending War with Iran

What Bush has done already may be summarized briefly:
  • He lied the nation into two wars. Neither have been won, neither had anything to do with the perpetrators of 911!
  • Against our own US criminal codes and numerous international treaties, Bush has arrogated unto himself the power to abduct, imprison and torture anyone that he decides is an "enemy". He has assumed for himself a title: "Decider".
  • He has built up a private army, a Praetorian Guard, to enforce his edicts: Blackwater USA.
Is Bush capable of starting WWIII, nuking Iran, staying put after his term ends? In a word --yes! Bush "gets off" on death. Immediately prior to his announcement that the US military was in action in Iraq, Bush --unaware that cameras were on and broadcasting --"pumped his fist" and declared: "I feel GOOD!"

Bush savors the little hints he drops, disguising them as "quips" or un-funny jokes. Tucker Carlson reported that Bush puckered his lips to mock Carla Fay Tucker's final plea for her life. "Please, Mr. Bush, don't kill me", he whined. As Governor of Texas, Bush chalked up 152 "kills" of many who were never competently defended, who were convicted upon phony or unreliable evidence, whose cases were tainted by dubious psychiatric evidence.

One need not be a licensed therapist to call him a sociopathic nut job, a threat to humankind and Western Civilization. He is clearly without empathy --that human quality upon which ethics and morality are based. Dr. Gustav Gilbert was the American psychologist who interviewed Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg. Based on his research there, Gilbert concluded that evil was best described as an utter lack of empathy. Bush is, therefore, at the very least, a psychopathic monster, for the theologically inclined --a Satan incarnate.
"Sociopathy can be recognized early in an individual. Before the age of around 15 - 16 years, a child showing sociopathic traits is titled with conduct disorder. Signs of this early stage of sociopathy might include immunity to parental punishment and pain. Other signs may be the torturing of animals, fire setting, vandalism, consistent lying, theft, or aggression towards others. Nothing usually works in trying to change the behavior of this type of child. Therefore, the parent(s) usually give up, making the situation worse. But it must be noted that many children with conduct disorder do not progress on to sociopaths. After the age of 15 - 16, those who continue to show sociopathic signs are then labeled as having sociopathy or antisocial personality disorder

Carter & Golant, 1998; Sabbatini, 1998; See also: Horton, The Sociopath

Old friends who knew Bush as a boy describe a diabolical monster who reveled in inflicting pain and suffering. They verify a well-circulated story that the Junior Bush used to shove firecrackers up horned frogs to watch them explode when he tossed them into the air. The New York Times reported that at Yale during his Skull and Bones days, Bush indulged the sadistic practice of "branding" fraternity pledges with "brands" made of metal coat hangers. The blind folded pledges still have the scars to prove it. Li'l George promised never do it again but never figured out why others thought it such a "big deal". Tragically for the world, li'l George now has nukes with which to bully the world.

Dick Cheney, Halliburton's plant inside the Bush administration, can be counted on to look after the interests of big, no-bid contractors, primarily his own Halliburton. It says a lot about him that he actually likes being called "Darth". Recently the Guardian reported that "Darth" may be winning the behind the scenes maneauvering in Bush's evil empire.

The balance in the internal White House debate over Iran has shifted back in favour of military action before President George Bush leaves office in 18 months, the Guardian has learned.

The shift follows an internal review involving the White House, the Pentagon and the state department over the last month. Although the Bush administration is in deep trouble over Iraq, it remains focused on Iran. A well-placed source in Washington said: “Bush is not going to leave office with Iran still in limbo.”

--Guardian Unlimited

A false-flag operation is most certainly on the table. Every US president has made such plans, notably Nixon's "Operation Garden Plot" and Reagan's "REX 84 Alpha". "Executive Directive 51" is absurdly vague about when and how Bush may declare his dictatorship, describing only a "catastrophic emergency."
Catastrophic Emergency" means any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the US population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.

--"Executive Directive 51"

In other words, Bush will simply declare an emergency following any "second terrorist" attack, terrorism being whatever Bush decides it is.

The Washington source said Mr Bush and Mr Cheney did not trust any potential successors in the White House, Republican or Democratic, to deal with Iran decisively. They are also reluctant for Israel to carry out any strikes because the US would get the blame in the region anyway.

"The red line is not in Iran. The red line is in Israel. If Israel is adamant it will attack, the US will have to take decisive action," Mr Cronin said. "The choices are: tell Israel no, let Israel do the job, or do the job yourself."

Almost half of the US's 277 warships are stationed close to Iran, including two aircraft carrier groups. The aircraft carrier USS Enterprise left Virginia last week for the Gulf. A Pentagon spokesman said it was to replace the USS Nimitz and there would be no overlap that would mean three carriers in Gulf at the same time.

--Cheney pushes Bush to act on Iran, Guardian Unlimited

Bush will declare martial law, postpone the 2008 elections indefinitely, and assume a title: Imperial Decider Guy, or some other bullshit title of his psychotic imagining
Scenario for 2008: Sometime in middle to late summer, perhaps early fall, a "terrorist attack," or a natural disaster occurs, allowing Bush to suspend the elections in the name of "national security," and take the control of the government via the "National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51" and "Homeland Security Presidential Directive/HSPD-20," released by the WH May 9th of this year. He could remain in control as long as he wanted. Now, wouldn't THAT be an interesting nightmare?

--Naomi Wolf, Huffington Post

Given the quagmire in Iraq, Bush will be "forced" to nuke Iran, having secretly hoped for the opportunity. Iran will blockade the straits of Hormuz and attack US fleets in the Gulf and Mediterranean. World War III will have begun.

Bush will call his dictatorship a "Constitutional Continuity" enabled for the sake of the father...uh..."the homeland".
Aided and abetted by right-wing Republicans and spineless Democrats in Congress he has rendered the Constitution utterly useless as an instrument for protecting the people from his authoritarian excesses. He has offered his profane opinion of the Constitution thus, "... it's just a God-damned piece of paper''

--Doug Thompson in Capitol Hill Blue, Dec 5, 2005.

Quietly, and without solemn ceremony, the law of the land, the very rule of law, i.e, the US Constitution will be set aside, as, in fact, it already has been. A few "bitter enders" may object only to find themselves interred in FEMA camps, KBR contructed "detention centers" built to accommodate anyone opposing the Imperial Decider Guy.

When Bush ordered the war of aggression against Iraq, Saddam was in the process of converting petro-dollars to Euros. Among US motivations for Middle East wars of aggression, the war against Iraq has not had the effect of shoring up the dollar. Bush fails again. Bush seems content, however, to balance the US trade deficit upon the backs of the middle class and the poor, already bearing the brunt of his tax cuts for tiny rich elites.
The terms sociopath or psychopath often bring to mind images of sadistically violent individuals such as Ted Bundy or the fictional character of Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter in the book and movie The Silence of the Lambs. But I believe the defining characteristic traits of sociopaths actually cover a much broader spectrum of individuals than most of us would ever imagine. The sociopath is that truly self-absorbed individual with no conscience or feeling for others [emphasis mine, LH] and for whom social rules have no meaning. I believe that most all of us know or have come in contact with sociopathic individuals without even knowing it.

-- Horton, The Sociopath

Indeed, we have. He occupies the Oval Office, a lofty perch from which he bullies the world and threatens, perhaps forever, the precious few chances we have for peace, plenty and prosperity.

Look, he's in the White House and Congress isn't doing a damn thing to control him, and he keeps getting more power either from declaring it for himself thru his directives, or from a stupid, cowed Congress. What are we doing, what are we going to do as a people.

Torture comes in many forms, I personally witness it every day. You see it in the Medical "Caring Community". It leaves me exhausted.
to see it. perhaps that is what has happened to our follow Americans, their not numb they are exhausted! In every aspect of our lives, there is uncaring, from our leader Bush, down to our medical Doctors, and healing facilities. It all starts at the top. Bush our great decider. all he has left is the war card, that's it. He's unpopular, unliked as a leader and person. All he has is our powerful Military and the ability and the and desire to create Wars.

Where's are world class Congress!!

I have had some experience with what you're talking about. And you are absolutely correct. It's enough to curl your hair.

...they are exhausted! In every aspect of our lives, there is uncaring, from our leader Bush, down to our medical Doctors, and healing facilities.

I used to think it was that way everywhere and the GOP, the establishment, the government want you to think that's they way it has to be. They are wrong. If we kick the GOP OUT OF EVERY CRACK AND CREVICE, America can still be a great country. And by GOP, I also mean those DINOS, like Hilary Clinton, who ought to just give up the charade and reveal themselves to be the snakes they are.

Bush our great decider. all he has left is the war card, that's it. He's unpopular, unliked as a leader and person. All he has is our powerful Military and the ability and the and desire to create Wars.

I have but one wish for Bush...it is found in US Codes, Title 18, Section 2441. The "penalty" section specifically. I only want justice done.

Cowboy...don't forget about Former Ambassador Dan Simpson's comments about his erie suspicions....

Mr. Bush decided in the end that he didn't care what happened to the Republican Party after he was out of the White House. There is also the late-at-night, eerie concern that Mr. Bush has in his head some sort of scenario where, for reasons of national security -- real or drummed up -- the '08 elections will have to be postponed and he will get to stay on. My suspicions have at their base the feeling I have that, given their operating style now, this bunch will not leave the White House easily in 2009.

I share your uneasy "feeling". All it would take is another terrorist attack. But what can you do for an encore after 911? Point being, they are now locked into a strategy requiring that they always "raise the stakes". A nuke, perhaps? Certainly there has been scuttlebutt. To prove a point, Bush would not hesitate to nuke an American city and say "I told you so!"

A key to all this is the suspicious flight recently with nuclear tipped missiles. Conflicting stories emerged. One maintained that some courageous folk in the military refused to transport the nukes to the middle east. Another story involves bringing the errant crew to military justice. uh huh! I smell cover story.

Is a military coup d'etat in the works even as we write? If the military is truly professional, they will know better than to nuke Iran. If not, we are screwed.

Len,
Just FYI: almost every time I visit your site I have computer problems. either the page I have opened just shuts down and is gone or my screen goes all wacky with snow and purple/green designs. it doesn't matter if I use the computer at home, work or school. It has been this way off and on for months now. it sounds crazy but maybe you are pissing someone off and they are trying to make going to your site harder to do. or maybe it's something else, but I thought you'd like to know about it.

Believe me Len, justice will come to Bush and his Associates its only a matter of time!! Our people and the world will have justice!!! You are right, the GOP needs to disappear and not fad away, but brought down by showing what they are and how they operate.

You are right Len, there is also the flip side to the Medical Community, there are some very compassionate Doctors, and I witnessed a wonderful Dr. today, right after I wrote this I brought another friend to see my Daughters specialist and she was wonderful!! Still they need to close all the Nursing Homes, that are being poorly run, and that is putting it mildly.

Liberality and Len, I post extensively as "kenj" in the Melbourne Age newspaper and in The Australian (when they let me), mostly to sneak a few facts into their fact-free zone and also to redress the more egregious falsehoods about Iran, Iraq. I've been doing so for two years. Out of curiosity I googled "kenj" a few months ago (just the Aussie links) and came back with 900 hits. The vast majority of these were to newspaper web pages where I had posted. I tried it again today and it came back with 9 links. Clearly, Google has been culling political commentary critical of the Bush administration.

There was also a strange occurrence the other day. Sanders Hicks had posted an article at 911 Blogger and I went to google his name. Both of his web sites on the google listing had a warning attached to them that "this site contains material that may be harmful to your computer". These notices are not there now but it struck me as odd that they should be there at the same time he had a major article out about 911.

There's no doubt in my mind that Google is heavily censoring some web sites and political material.

btw, Liberality, I use a program called c-cleaner after I log on (and before I go online) and before I log off. It's a terrific program that cleans out all the gunk. It particularly gets rid of any unfriendly stuff loaded into my browser cache. And I really don't know how I got by without process explorer as a replacement for windows task manager. I can inspect everything running on my computer in microscopic detail. It's a marvel (and totally safe!). I am going to do a posting at some stage on free, safe software resources that I've found in my travels. I'll let you know when I get it posted somewhere. Cheers.

I am sorry to hear that. I can assure you that all of the code that I've placed in the master template is benign. I have noticed that load time varies from time to time but is usually slow only when I have a lot of other tabs open. I use Firefox.

BTW ---about two years ago I had a major crash which I attributed to the fact that, at the time, I had been using IE and was not adequately protected against malware.

My recipe now is Firefox, the entire McAfee Suite, adaware, Xoftspy, and spybot. I am also on a broadband connection.

As for pissing someone off, I am quite sure that the GOP would love to shut us all up. I had known quite a few folk in Houston --many of them had sold their very souls to the GOP. I've often said that the GOP is not a political party, it's a crime syndicate, a criminal conspiracy. I stick by that. It's also a kooky cult.

We all hope you are right. It's hard to see how this can last much longer. Just this morning, BBC has reported that the Bush admin is now "warning" China and Russia with regard to Iran. And, as I recall, China has already "warned" Bush first.

China has some awesome weaponry that the US can't touch. China can put a nuclear sub just off the East Coast. If nukes are dropped in China's backyard against "warnings", it's hard to see how Washington could escape complete and utter obliteration.

Does Bush want this?

I don't doubt that.

I use a program called c-cleaner after I log on (and before I go online) and before I log off.

Not familiar with c-cleaner but it's a good idea. As I mentioned, I use several programs, and there's always some little cookie or data miner that another program catches that was missed on a first "sweep".

Among the most malicious junk out there are the browser hijackers. I hate that crap. Browser hijackers just love Internet Explorer, a program that I have not used in years. I found and deleted manually all kinds of junk in my registry. I don't recommend making such manual deletions. If you make a mistake, you can really screw up your computer.

Netscape is much better than IE, but Firefox is better still. It's certainly more user friendly and takes up less screen space. My Firefox has never been hijacked and has NEVER, EVER let a pop up get through. Pop ups are the work of Satan.

Thanks for the tip about "process explorer". I am checking out your link now...I may add it to the mix.

Wayne Madsen, believes Bush has Aids, When Bush is traveling out of the country all his body waste is captured and brought home to be destroyed. Going back in memory Wayne also said something about ticks creating a health problem for Bush, but Wayne felt that the tick appearing illness could be an aids related symptom and not ticks at all.

If Bush has aids, it could create a mighty angry man!

Good to see more people posting up about the second 9-11 to come. Every one seems fuzzy on the details, so I think people need to go into more detail. To flesh out the scenario, you have to keep asking what Darth and W really want. You have to visualize secret meetings in which these guys theorize their most desired scenario, and then discuss ways to make it happen.

The most desired scenario, in my opinion, would be if they somehow could bring the American people to condone attacking and invading Iran. Clearly, for them, using their past actions and their teacher Hitler's tactics, if Americans believed we were attacked by Al Qaeda operating out of Iran, or simply by Iran itself, they could get just enough approval, as they did for the Iraq War.

I believe 9-11 was planned by Darth, and that he actually intended for no one or very few people to get killed. I think due to ideology, Cheney, while reveling in sending America troops to their deaths, does not actually want to attack Americans. The idea is stage an attack, kill as few Americans as possible, but have the effect in Americans be traumatizing none the less, so they can then get on with the "Shock Doctrine" described in Naomi's book.

I think Darth feels it's unfortunate that thousands of Americans got trapped in the Twin Towers, but with the clock ticking and their window of opportunity to carry out the plan - to pull the towers and WTC7 (with all the incriminating evidence of ongoing investigations into crony companies) - evaporating, he felt he had to bring them down anyway.

So the question becomes: what kind of "catastrophic emergency" would traumatize America again, and also be able to be used to get Americans to condone attacking Iran?

Clearly, the answer is if Americans believed Iran attacked us. So, staging an "attack by Iran" is a desired outcome.

The next question becomes, "How to stage the attack in such a way that it traumatizes the nation, with minimal loss of actual American lives?".

You see how the line of questioning proiduces believable answers here. Because this can get lengthy, I'll cut the process short, and cut to the chase. here's what I have come up with:

1. If Americans believed Iran nuked us, then the Bushies would simultaneously
a. "prove" that Iran had nukes
b. make Americans angry at Iran
c. justify retaliatory attacks against Iran using our own nukes

2. How can you "nuke" Americans without actually nuking them. Possible answers:
a. Have a bomb go off in a remote area. Not desirable because it would be too transparent, and the attack needs to hit Americans where they live. Also an open mushroom cloud type explosion I think is something Darth does not want to hit Americans with (for the same reasons Hitler burned the Reichstag very late at night when it was largely unoccupied).
b. have a "dirty Nuke" go off that doesn't actualy explode or vaporize anyone, but causes a diruption of the economy, and causes shutdown.

Next question: where would be the most effective location?
a. the easiest way to shut down America economically for a few days is to affect a major port city, and to have all airline and some of the train and truck transportation temporaily susended. NYC was hit last time, and while its obviously the target of choice, it may be too transparent. LA, SF, or Seattle make far better choices, and they have the added incentive of being "liberal strongholds" that it would be nice to neutralize politically.

Seattle can produce an additional "fright factor" because near Seattle is the largest strockpile of nukes the military keeps in the USA. It could then be claimed that "the terrorists" had ambitions to attack our nuclear stockpiles directly, providing additional justification for a nuclear response against Iran.

SF is good because by shutting it down, America's economy will be severely affected, and because it's a liberal and gay stronghold, just making it more easy to rally Bush's base to a Patriotic fervor, and jstifying Fundy Christians beliefs that God is taking revenge on gays and sinners (sort of like the way He destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah).

LA is maybe the best because it would REALLY shut the USA down almost as effectively as attacking NYC. Again it's a liberal stronghold also, conatining two groups of Americans that the GOP particularly despises: immigrants and Hollywood liberals.

How to do it so it kills very few Americans?
a. have it go off in the harbor of a port city, not in a neighborhood. Thus it could be more easily contained by an emergency response (although not too effectively contained, as we saw in 9-11, because the effect has to be real). And the dirty nuke could go off causing as few actual American deaths as possible, while simultaneously delivering the desired results of a "nuclear attack" that could be blamed on Iran, and traumatizing the country.

So I say: look for a dirty nuke in the harbor of a major American port, most likely a West Coast city.

This also has the advantage that since the nation is on the lookout for terrorists using planes, that is not a good way to stage a second attack. The ports are famously insecure, and it would be easy to arrange to have a dirty nuke concealed in a container and brought in on a boat passing through loops in normal inspection procedures, all arranged secretly.

We have to think these things through, because we are the ones whom the job is going to fall onto to expose the plots.

If we don't meet that responsibility, Americans may never have the empowering knowledge of what this Administration is doing to them.

Another reason which Wayne Madsen, shared regarding Bush having Aids, Bush has given huge, huge sums to Aids research, when, and when does Bush give money for any social or scientific program. We all know he is very selfish and self serving, now giving money for this research helps him, if he does have Aids. Makes since. Wayne Madsen was in NSA Intelligence, and gets some pretty interesting information sometime.

Yogi,I think you might be on to something and if Bush decides to let off a dirty bomb, it would be in a Liberal Coastal City. Look what he allowed to happen to New Orleans, turned it into a Conservative state, bang over night, by forcing the black people out of the Community after Katrina! They now have a Conservative Governor. LA is prime for this one, it is very liberal.

Look I grew up in a Communist country, (1980's Hungary,)so I know a little something about opressive regimes. Do I think some freedoms are being eroded in the United States?

Specifically, the "Bill of Rights", the first ten amendments to the US Constitution are not merely under attack. With "legal opinions" from NSA's General Hayden and Alberto Gonzales, the Bill of Rights are all but dead. The Bill of Rights are more important than the body of the Constiution; they deal with conditions the government MUST meet in order to arrest you, hold you for trial, etc. The concepts of habeas corpurs and probable cause are not just eyewash. These concepts go back, at least, to Magna Carta.

Without those protections, Bush can merely declare you a terrorist and, if Bush claims you are a terrorist, then you are a terrorist! You don't get a lawyer. You don't get a phone call. You don't get a trial. You don't get to see family or friends. You have literally dropped into a hole and forgotten.

You can find the Bill of Rights at Findlaw.com. Bush has, by decree, overturned everyone of them. There is also Habeas Corpus rescinded by Bush decree and given an imprimatur of legitimacy by Gonzales.

I have no wish to denigrate your experience. Fact is, our founding fathers and James Madison specifically, wrote the Bill of Rights in order to prevent this kind of thing. I am not dealing in generalities here. If you browse the archives, you will find numerous articles in which I have been very specific and have cited case law.

I grew up in the most right wing and reactionary part of the US --West Texas! I speak from experience. Besides --you are not paranoid if "they" really are out to turn the US into a right wing dictatorship. Oil barons in Texas would speak openly about how great it would be when a right wing government of their choice would declare martial law and round up all the "commies". Of course, a "commie" is anyone any point left of Ginghis Khan.

Ever hear of the McCarthy era? It's happening again but with FOX news carrying the fascist banner.

The nation is already fascist. The corporations finance EVERY political campaign. Everything else is for show.

Bush is owned by that ilk. No paranoia ...just a fact.

Hey Len

I think you're right, if we could get rid of the Grand Old Perverts we'd be able to rescue America.

But that's a little bit like trying to get rid of HIV. You can control it, but you know it'll still be out there somewhere. The best you can do is watch things carefully and stick to the medicine.

That being said, as much as I hate to say it, if we can get a different $elected preznit in November '08, we'd be better off with a DINOcrat than any other Republican. Not as good as with a real Democrat, but better than a Republican.

The disease would still be there, just under control. Somewhat. Perhaps enough to buy us time to act.

But I think you're right. If Cheney or Bu$hie had anything to do with it, they'd take over immediately.

The only thing is, it's not just Cheney and Bu$hie. It's a whole criminal organization, and Big Time Dick's got the right attitude but he's too old and sick to command the respect a real dictator needs from his minions. And li'l Bu$hie's mean enough, but not smart enough to control the hired help without his Poppy's guidance.

Hence Gates on the scene.

That's the only thing standing in the way of either one of these two. They scare much of the rest of their Company. That introduces a variable, one that could change the equation.

Earlier I spoke of Bush potentially having Aids, Which was something I read by another blog. I should have clarified, that people with this very difficult illness would never be a George Bush. Bush quite simply is a very angry Man! The Blog gave that possible reason,I hope I did not offend anyone.

Our faltering economy and continued Wars could be the eventual downfall of our great Country.

Congress has to become Courageous, and stop this Mad Man before it's to late.

...if we could get rid of the Grand Old Perverts we'd be able to rescue America.

That's GOP, alright! Everything Bush has done must be undone and re-affirmed unabiguously. The principle of popular soverignty is a good place to start. We need to make it clear to politicians of ANY stripe that that principle is INVIOLATE. Politicians are hired folk. The people are sovereign and if there is anything wrong with the Bill of Rights it is that it is not clear enough about the SUBSERVIENT role of politcians to the popular sovereign, ie, the people themselves.

The only thing is, it's not just Cheney and Bu$hie. It's a whole criminal organization

You are absolutely correct. The entire GOP is crooked to the bone. Back in Houston, I knew Tom DeLay, the "Swift Boat financiers" Bob Perry et al personally. There was, in Houston, a "Bush cult" for lack of a better word. I watched this group "swift boat" one of the best mayor's the city of Houston ever had. As a mere State Rep, DeLay was already at work gerrymandering the state in preparation for a "permanent Republican majority".

I don't think you offended anyone posting here. I think Bush is sick --but not aids. Certainly no expert on aids, I would expect, however, a greater weight loss. He does seem to be "wasting" in other ways. He wears entirely too much makeup to be credible.

"You guys are reeeeely paranoid..." - anon

The "reeeeally paranoid" Americans today are the neo-con extremists and their outrageous behavior, and right you are...indeed, what has happened to America. Whom ever anon #2 is, you sir need to remove your blinders or the wax from your ears. The Bush/Cheney administration represent the extremist shift, the pushing of the envelop as far as civil Constitutional concerns go, and that is for all Americans for now and in the future, unless our congress comes to it's senses and begins doing the job they have taken an oath to do, that is, to protect the U.S. Constitution and and then "represent" their citizen constituency of all stripes.

Also, anon from Hungary, no disrespect, but you certainly may be able to detect a brutal dictatorial regime, but if you have only lived in this country twenty years, you have no idea what has and is being given up this past post WWII era, no idea whats so ever. And although this seems a great place to be in your eyes, we have been watching as the corporate money has totally hijacked the political process, and how the media has slowly given way to wishes of their conglomerate boss, all this since the Reagan era of deregulation.

One mans floor is another's ceiling. The first thing you had better learn living in a democracy (what is left of it) is that one has to be pro-active and vigilant at all times. There has been and always will be periods like we are going through, it is just a matter of degrees, and when the regressors and corrupt special interest people get to powerful, it is just that much harder to steer back to the center.

For starters, please go and study Jefferson, Madison, & Paine...these are the primary founding fathers who are responsible for both our constitution, and it's bill of rights, not to mention the Declaration of Independence, and if you have studied them and can not see what is wrong , or what has happened to America, well I just do not know what to say then. The U.S. Constitution is not about memorization or current interpretations (Scalia's "Quaint document " comment concerning the Constitution) this is about over two centuries of our fundamental founding laws, and actually gaining some insight and understanding. if even "half" of America would do that, no matter how long they have resided here, this country would be much better off. To be satisfied just because you are much better off is certainly no answer.

You are absolutely correct, benmerc. Also, I agree completely with your reading list. I've placed a link to quotes by James Madison in my "resouces" section. For someone who is new to the US, I would try to impress upon them how important the founder's vision is and how far removed Bush's perversion of it.

I would also try to impress upon anyone immigrating to the US to understand that while the US may not have the outward appearance (YET) of say Hungary under an oppressive communist regime, the changes that Bush has effected are now all Bush needs to "legally" bring about the more odious trappings of an oppressive dictatorship. Why would Bush insist upon these "constitutional" changes if he did not have in mind acting upon them?

As for his "war on terrorism" --it's entirely bogus. Bush cannot name a SINGLE terrorist that he has "brought to justice" as he had promised. Not one! Zarqawi doesn't count because Zarqawi died several times --his last "death" being the one most convenient for Bu8sh. The new reports about him could not be depended upon. It was convenient for Bush that he was killed (or was he?). Otherwise, Bush might have had to make a case against him and probably could not.

Len, thank you for letting me know I would not hurt someones feelings on your blog! I never one intentionally!!

You are so right Bush, has invaded so many of our rights, from the reading of our e-mails to listening of our phone conversations, just quite simply the plain old spying of us, and taking people off the streets of any Country and torturing them,of course we realize there is still much more invasion and destruction of our rights I haven't shared.

Yet still we have an illusion of freedom in this Country. What happens if this maniac decides to create martial law and a complete dictatorship?

The GOP has never supported freedom. The GOP, for as long as I can remember, supports an orthodoxy, a secular religion. It is a conformist party at best, at worst --it is a fascist front. Lately, the party's endemic hypocrisy has become clear to everyone --even goppers. I cannot support someone like Ron Paul. If he were truly honest, he would have resigned the GOP a long time ago. Secondly, Ron Paul's economic policies are a complete disaster.

Len,

I agree with you on Ron Paul...but, he seems to have enamored the "youth" vote in my region, young uninformed idealogs on the left and right...I have tried to explain to some he is as political as the next cat. Anyhow, I really like your description of the GOP: "...conformist party at best, at worst a fascist front" that pretty much sums them up.

And don't forget benmerc that the GOP is also a crime syndicate, a criminal conspiracy prosecutable under RICO.

Anonymous said...

Well that may be and we could only hope so, but...I won't be holding my breath on that one.
Possibly there will be civil suits to haunt these crooks that will cost them plenty, down the road. I just do not see our judicial system really going after any of this clan, everything is just to well "connected" today, at least for a certain segment of society.

benmerc, you are right. It's a longshot. But you can bet that if some tangible "probable cause" came my way, I would take it straight to a "friendly judge" who just might convene a Grand Jury.

Damien, much thanks for the links. I am checking it all out now. Having survived the spyware wars once, I am now ever vigilant.

thanks for the computer advice Damian and Len. I am going to work on my home computer and see what can be done. I like reading this blog and I get discouraged when I am constantly blown out. At the university I attend they have foxfire on the computers. Anyway, I am checking it out.

liberality, you will love firefox. As I was using IE, there was no end to problems. Firefox has all the advantages of Netscape without the clutter. I recommend trying the links from Damien's last post. Some very good stuff there. Good luck.

A final note...whever you do DO NOT put any Norton product on your computer. Norton Anti-virus IS no better than a virus. I had nothing but problems with it. At last, I literally built the computer I am using now. And Norton will never get a chance to screw it up.

I think we are all underestimating Bush and we have forgotten how he got in the White House in the first place. He didn't get to be President by some kind of democratic process. In fact, after the networks had already announced that Gore had won the elction Bush came on TV ostensibly to make concession. Instead he protested that the networks were wrong and that the exit polling was wrong too. How the hell could he know any such thing from where he was. No way. I would not be surprised at anything Bush does to stay in office. You should notice that Jeb Bush is not running for any office. He is as least acceptable as Guiliani. At least he was a better administrator. We really need to wake up. One thing Bush has that we don't Bush is not afraid of any consequences. He, better than anybody, knows what he really deserves and how long he has deserved it. Where is he going to go after he is out of office. He knows that he is already a pariah beyond any redemption. Bush is "all in". He is not pussyfooting around like we are trying to contemplate his next move. The man is a destroyer plain and simple. He can;t cite one thing good he has ever done in his life. How did you like his comment that he was about to feed Angela Merkel some "Hamburgler" I am sure he is just cracking up at his own wit. anyway you can find me at:

Everything you've said about Bush and more is true. He's a psycopathic criminal beyond redemption and hope, beyond giving a shit about what he does to the world. He knows this about himself and doesn't care.

POSTERITY'S SOURPUSS

Experiments have shown the more
People within a room,
The less prone they to action, or
To strike against their doom.

So, in an office, fills the smoke--
Not any takes alarm--
But an inferno is no joke,
Does more than keep one "warm."

A single sitter might be bold
Enough to spring to action,
But multiplied, as though takes hold
Paralysis, distraction.

It is like this today: because
The nation is so large,
Problem egregious, all but pause
Nor none will forward charge.

A snake got in the room--this was
A government elected:
Now all thy pretty chicks it slays,
Though not quite unprotected--

But thee and thine all didst refuse
A finger helpful to raise,
And so posterity may choose
To offer up no "hoorays."
