Bush’s Parting Gift: A Pox Upon Us All

By Ed Encho

What are they gonna say about him? What are they gonna say? That he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? That he had plans? That he had wisdom? Bullshit man!... Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet-warrior in the classic sense. I mean sometimes he'll... uh... well, you'll say "hello" to him, right? And he'll just walk right by you. He won't even notice you. And suddenly he'll grab you, and he'll throw you in a corner, and he'll say, "do you know that 'if' is the middle word in life? If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you"... I mean I'm no, I can't... I'm a little man, I'm a little man, he's... he's a great man. I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas...

-Dennis Hopper (as the crazed photographer in Apocalypse Now)

And then he was gone….

A perfect metaphor for America, the fake cowboy, a dude ranch desperado who was afraid of horses (try to find a picture of him on one) born with a silver spoon in his mouth as the latest incarnation of the John Wayne hammerhead icon that has become the archetype for all that is American. When that helicopter lifted his mangy, war criminal ass off of the Capitol grounds to the cheers of hundreds of thousands, a boisterous many chanting of "Nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye", the curses of many others throughout the land and a date with historical infamy, I personally felt nothing at all. No relief, no glee, no anger, no outrage…I just watched it fly away in the same way that I would watch a garbage truck driving down the street after a pick-up. I had run the gamut of every possible emotion for the last eight years of sorrow, stupidity and disrepute and long ago reached the point of being spent over the gross transgressions of Little Lord Fauntleroy and his cadre of Mayberry Machiavellis, his neocon conquerors and their appetite for global destruction and the portable Potemkin village that was rolled out to con the rubes and suckers that there was no bankrupt, crumbling empire behind the star spangled façade.

George W. Bush, like Colonel Walter Kurtz long ago reached the end of the river and he made us all insane and has now left behind a smoking crater that will very likely not be fixed until every reader of this post has died of old age if it ever is. The economy is in advanced deterioration, capitalism has failed and all of the pundits and Wall Street shills who are telling Americans that the worst is over….well, suffice it to say that they are the same ones that were saying that the economy was sound less than a year ago…they are full of shit. The next shoe to drop will be commercial property, the rampage of unabated greed after the Bush regime dropped all premises of regulation followed by putting a rabid fox named Henry Paulson in charge of guarding the henhouse has yet to fully play out. When you drive around and see all of the for sale or lease signs, popping up like those silly fucking yellow ribbon magnets did back in 2003 it is a sign of economic apocalypse that you don’t have to be fucking Nostradamus to predict. The dismal holiday season retail sales have only begun to be announced, the bankruptcies are forthcoming along with broken lease agreements that will then begin to take down shopping malls and creating ghost malls. I simply refer people to the great article by Dmitry Orlov on the fall of the Soviet Union: Post-Soviet Lessons for a Post-American Century on what to expect.

Tuesday there was hope throughout the land but as a hardened cynic friend of me used to say “life, work and shit are all four letter words”, you can soon add hope to that list but I’ll get to that in a little bit.

A lifelong fuckup, 9/11 made him the angry and vengeful God and it made us all the hunted in the bunting draped hell, shouted down as heretics and unpatriotic terrorist sympathizers as King George and his minions used the fear and loathing generated by those attacks as though they were a thousand pound sledgehammer to be repeatedly dropped on the heads of stunned Americans who didn’t march to the beat of the devil’s drummer Karl Rove. The greatest shame is that George W. Bush took credit for ‘protecting America’ from terrorism by dragging our ideals and morality through the darkest back alleys of some third world shithole torture state and was able to pull it all off by being able to convince a large portion Americans that the ‘terrorist’ attacks that happened on HIS watch were never his fault to begin with. What else could be expected from a gullible population of overindulgent, under informed, overfed, juiced up on Jesus sheep and lemmings? George W. Bush WAS America

Primping with plastic turkeys in heavily guarded Baghdad locations, strutting and preening in a Top Gun suit and industrial sized codpiece onboard the USS Lincoln, the man who cowered as the shadow government executed their dirty coup standing atop the pile of rubble at Ground Zero as the stench of burned and rotting flesh was still fresh in the New York City air, to Karl Rove and the rest of the America hating fascist scumbags it smelled like victory. Jackbooted fascist thugs like Rush Limbaugh and his angry army milked their cocks like turkey necks over the sadomasochistic sleaze and sexual torture of the Abu Ghraib atrocities, attached themselves like leeches to the emaciated breathing corpse that was Terri Schiavo, institutionalized torture and made Rupert Murdoch’s fictitious FOX television’s skull cracking Jack Bauer their Übermensch. The running of the pigs on Wall Street, the true damage of which is only now being seen with much worse to come turned what was once a prosperous society with a thriving middle class into Elois and Morelocks, it was fuck or walk, it was shock and awe and by God the bastard is finally gone and that he wasn't crazed enough to invoke martial law and appoint himself dictator for life.

Bush’s legacy is a degenerate and rotting culture, institutionalized criminality, the largest percentage of prisoners on the planet, looming national bankruptcy, capitalism become cannibalism like the guy in the Stephen King story stranded on a deserted island with a boatload of heroin who hacks off parts of his own body to eat and kisses the dragon to do so, the markets are not unlike heroin addicts, Goldman Sachs and the leeches on our back must be saved at all costs and each dollar destroying fix to the jonesing junkies on Wall Street only feeds the monkey for a bit longer while millions are thrown out of their jobs and homes as a result. It included a land where until this past November more traditional forms of democracy were replaced by American Idol, where the news was swapped out with state sanctioned propaganda, where Jesus was weaponized and unleashed to fly an F-14 and drop bombs on children on missions for the moneychangers and most of all, a place where ignorance was exalted in a sad country that was renamed “The Homeland”, or translated into Nazispeak “Der Heimat”.

The progeny of Nazi collaborator Prescott Bush was finally gone, the Bush family has been run out of power, one time heir Jeb has been left to become some perverse inversion of Billy Carter a beautiful topsy-turvy, Bizzaro world, through the looking glass figure that is so perfect for this rotten and befouled era in American history that it should induce nocturnal emissions amongst the cockroaches, ghouls, vampires and pathetic legions of the pathologically fucked and doomed here in Der Heimat. Ah…what could have been had the true heir to the meticulously planned Fourth Reich not been usurped by his dumb-assed, drug-addled, mentally deficient and downright mean idiot bastard brother who was chosen precisely because Cheney, Rummy and the neocons could push his buttons and play him against his old man. For that I suppose we owe the PNAC boys some debt of gratitude but it’s hard to be jubilant, keep a stiff upper lip as the shit rises to neck level or find treasure among the smoking rubble left behind by this grand scale carnival of perversion, ruination and historical infamy that the Bushreich has wrought like a biblical plague of flesh eating shit locusts with a mandate to paint this fickle and fucked country red like Clint Eastwood in High Plains Drifter coming back to paint the town of Lago red, rename it Hell and turn the keys to the place over to the lumpen Republican dregs of society just for the sheer fuck all of it so that they may chase the citizenry around to be beggared and buggered for the sake of their amusement.

Whatever ruination we may suffer as Americans we can rest assured that if there is such a being as God that the pox upon us all of the George W. Bush years was a comeuppance. It was a vicious smiting, a celestial folly and ultimately a judgment on our failure as a nation to be the force for good and for peace that we all, given our unprecedented prosperity and global influence could have been had we not bought into the flag swaddled, four flushing fascist horseshit that has been allowed since the end of WW II. The United States could have changed the planet for the better coming out of the 'good war' but was diverted from any enduring mission to spread decency and promote peace abroad as the social compact as well as our very destiny was dragged through a pool of blood and shit by high-rolling Wall Street elitists, scions of the robber barons themselves and their own personal Gestapo, the CIA. That one chance was forever squandered and George W. Bush was our reward for completely blowing it.

As the saying goes and I paraphrase, those whom the gods destroy are first made mad, and we are madder than the wildest acid laced tea-party in the garden of the Queen of Hearts and the Mad fucking Hatter himself, we were seduced by the false god of capitalism, nibbled at the apple, got dumb, greedy and lazy and eventually were chased out of the garden by the false gods of our own making. Bush among all of his other dubious ‘achievements’ proved Mencken to be a prophet because it was he who once wrote:
"As democracy is perfected, the office of President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
As for President Barack Obama, neither I nor history suffer fools kindly and those who think that he is any sort of a savior need only contemplate that the REAL Jesus was brutally beaten, tortured, mocked and crucified and the nail gun bearing idiots in the red states would do the same in a Tuscaloosa minute were the to return to Earth on inauguration day preaching the same commie liberal bullshit. Perdition is where we are headed and for fuck’s sake it’s where we all belong for our complicity in this travesty. There will be no saving grace either, as Dylan once sang “the Titanic sails at dawn” and we have all had our tickets punched and been booked for passage in steerage as the high rolling pigs party and dance, celebrating because it is in their nature while they remain willfully ignorant of the tragic disaster coming.

Americans have become a tragic, low-minded, self-indulgent, mean-spirited and just plain uncouth people over the past two and a half decades and like an alcoholic or drug addicted the acknowledgement of this is the first step to recovery. Economic displacement may bring about the necessary soul searching (providing Sarah Palin Republicans don’t use the misery to catapult a typically supine Democratic Congress to regenerate) to come out of this morass of murderous war and mammon worshipping avarice a better and more mature people.

But in all fairness, due to the influence of George Bush and the GOP the country has changed a lot for the better. Look at President Obama, shit if you would have told me a black man would be president I would have said - BULLSHIT - it will only happen when hell freezes over or the Cardinals are in the Super Bowl....and it's going to be in the low 30s here in Tampa tonight. I do give Bush credit though, were it not for his magnificent success at fucking up every goddamned thing that he ever touched, a King Midas in reverse then we would have likely witnessed the spectacle of an orgy of jackbooted jellyfish yesterday, fondling themselves, prowling for libruls to beat, drinking blood and celebrating the inauguration of President Rudolph Giuliani.

And he never did incinerate the planet by allowing Dick Cheney to goad him into nuking Iraq, for that alone the idiot bastard son deserves credit.
Robot apartments! invisible suburbs!
skeleton treasuries! blind capitals! demonic

After Eight Disastrous Years, Hope!

by Len Hart

What was that collective rushing of air I just heard? I think it was a universal, global sigh of relief! Ding, Dong! The wicked douche bag may not be dead but he is at least out of the White House where I would hope the fumigators have done their jobs and the 'exterminators' have dusted for bugs.

We are in desperate need and deserving of comic relief having just escaped the guillotine. There may, indeed, be kneeslappers among those who have managed to extract their heads from a noose. Here is a soupcon of some of the most recent writers of sardonic, ironic gallows humor.
Finally. Mercifully. Astonishingly. Incredibly. The insane adventure in national suicide known as the Bush administration is at last coming to an end.

This was a ride that beggars belief. Even after McCarthy and Nixon and Reagan and Gingrich, nothing prepared us for the last eight years, and I for one have difficulty finding the words that could begin to do justice to describing this historical folly of epic proportions.

...

If this child in the body of a man were named Putin or Castro or Kim, Americans would get it. If they were observing the country from the perspective of Zimbabwe, instead of the other way around, then they would get it. They can understand the notion of some foreign thug who means to do harm to our country. They get the idea, in other places, of a domestic thug who seeks to plunder his own country. They just can't imagine it happening here. And, therefore, they don't see that it just has.

--The Bushies Stole Us Blind ... So, How'd You Like Your Beer?, AlterNet
What is most scary is that this had very nearly happened before and --even now --few make the connection. Before Bush pre-empted him in the the areas of idiocy, 'trickle down' giveaways to a tiny elite, bluster, primitive simian chest beating, or mangled grammar, there was Ronald Reagan, who was, in his time, the very worst President in US history. Reagan has been outclassed by a brand of stupidity, cruelty, psychosis and utter 'disconnectedness' that GOPPERS of his day could only dream about. It was Reagan who took class warfare to absurd heights. It was left to the the arch fiend Bush to push everyone but the very, very rich off the summit and into the dark abyss.
The show at the Lincoln Memorial contained other moments signaling that the cultural civil war that began with the civil rights crusade, the movement against the Vietnam War, and the rise of hippie-dom was done—at least for now—and that the libs had won. Toward the end of the HBO-aired event, Bruce Springsteen, once a greaser-rocker, brought out folk music hero and activist Pete Seeger, once derided by conservatives as a commie, and Seeger led the crowd in “This Land Is Your Land.” This song is the liberal national anthem, written by Woody Guthrie in 1940 as a populist-minded response to Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America,” which was too rah-rah for Guthrie’s liking. (Beyoncé then hit the stage and belted out “God Bless America.”)

--Obama's Inauguration Marks the End of America's Culture Wars
It may prove impossible to win a 'cultural war' against the axis of Reagan/Bush I/Bush II. This triumvirate of elitism pushed the envelope to the breaking point over the course of a mere 30 years --a significant amount of time in the history of a young nation. Some now approaching middle age have no other memories of this nation but those of an increasingly tiny elite, championed by the likes of Reagan/Bush, subverting the principles of our founding, transfering wealth upward, impoverishing everyone else, creating the worst 'recessions' [in fact depressions] since that of Herbert Hoover who urged poor people to sell oranges from a pushcart. Even Marie Antoinette did better. She encouraged the poor to eat cake when they could no longer afford bread.
Let's be clear what we're talking about here. It's not just torture and illegal wiretapping, whose perpetrators claim, however implausibly, that they were patriots acting to defend the nation's security. The fact is that the Bush administration's abuses extended from environmental policy to voting rights. And most of the abuses involved using the power of government to reward political friends and punish political enemies.

--Forgive and Forget the Crimes of the Bushies? I Don't Think So
Obama offered much to liberals, progressives, in other words, anyone appalled by the politics of fear, elitism, lies and empire. The question is: how substantially is Obama prepared to build upon the wave of goodwill that he now enjoys from that hard core cadre who ---from the 'git go' --found in Bush a threat to every principle that made America the nation our founders envisioned and articulated in a 'goddamned piece of paper'!
That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land — a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met.

--Barack Obama, Inaugural Address
I want to know --does Obama understand that the Bush/GOP America he described is NOT the result of incompetence? It is the deliberate result of GOP intention and design. The GOP, in Texas, has deliberately subverted public education. The result: Texas has become the perfect example. Texas leads the nation in the number of students failing to graduate high school, As a result, Texas leads the nation in the number of people incarcerated for serious crimes. It is no coincidence that, at the same time, Texas pioneered the 'corporatization' of the criminal justice and prison system. Only an idiot could not make the connection. GOP policies 'leave only poor children behind', increase crime and thus incarceration rates and it is done in order to enrich the GOP 'base' of robber barons, liars, elitists, fascists and useful idiots who sold their souls.

In the meantime, I wish Obama well. He has as much to undo as do.
What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them— that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

--President Barack Obama, Inaugural Address

The Origins of American Decline in the Assassination of John F. Kennedy

by Len Hart, the Existentialist Cowboy

The Warren Commission's official 'magic bullet' theory was cooked up to cover up the undeniable fact that the shot that killed JFK came from the front, the infamous grassy knoll where witnesses were photographed rushing up the knoll toward a leafy cover just behind the picket fence.

Gerald Ford admitted to tampering with evidence while he was on the Warren Commission. In other words, Ford committed a federal crime the effect of which has kept the truth from the American people since 1963.
The initial draft of the report stated:
    "A bullet had entered his back at a point slightly above the shoulder to the right of the spine."
Ford wanted it to read:
    "A bullet had entered the back of his neck slightly to the right of the spine."
--Gerald Ford's Terrible Fiction
The murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by known mobster Jack Ruby was entirely too timely, too convenient. It necessitated the creation of the Warren Commission which, in fact, facilitated and promoted the government's official cover story.
"According to the Warren Report the missile hit JFK in the posterior neck, then without striking any hard object passed through the neck to exit at the front of his throat. It then entered Texas Governor John B. Connally's back at the right arm pit, sliding along his fifth rib, demolishing four inches of the rib before it exited his chest below the right nipple. The bullet then allegedly struck and shattered the radius of the right wrist on the dorsal side, then exited at the base of his palm and hit his left thigh just about the knee.

The Report then asserts that CE 399 traveled about three inches beneath the surface of the skin, hit the femur and deposited a lead fragment on the bone. Then, sometime later, with a spasm of reverse kinetic energy it spontaneously exited the hole in Connally's thigh and neatly tucked itself under the mattress of a stretcher parked in a hallway of the Parkland Memorial Hospital that the Report asserted was linked to the wounded governor. There it rested calmly under the mattress waiting for its rendezvous with history."
--Gerald McKnight, Researcher
The "chain of evidence" on Commission Exhibit 399 --known as the 'Magic Bullet' --had been broken. The government could not have convicted Oswald with a 'magic bullet'. Moreover, because the 'chain of evidence' had been broken, the 'magic bullet' would not have been admitted as evidence.

A trial of Oswald would have exposed the fraudulent nature of the Warren Commission --motive enough to order the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald who had maintained from the get go that he was a 'patsy'. Oswald, I am sure, would have had much more to say in his own defense had his case gone to trial. Oswald was the man who knew too much.

The death of Oswald was improbably convenient. It relieved the government of having to get a conviction which it most certainly could not have done with inadmissible evidence. Incredibly, however, we are expected to believe a simple-minded cover story that would have been thrown out of court by a competent and/or honest judge. We are expected to believe that a single bullet fired from the Mannlicher-Carcano was responsible for numerous wounds --a fatal one to JFK and serious wounds to Texas Governor John Connally. None of this would have gotten by a spirited, competent defense.

The Zapruder film would have been played back in court, proving to any intelligent jury that the 'magic bullet' was not only wrong and inadmissible, it was irrelevant. The fatal shot came from the front, striking JFK just above his right eye, exploding his skull and driving his head backward from the impact.

Backward and to the left.

 If you doubt this, here is a link to a unique site: Zapruder Film Frame by Frame. Every frame of Zapruder is enlarged and accessible with a link. Zapruder can be examined, literally, frame by frame.

The murder of JFK may not have been the classic coup d'etat usually announced amid great chest beating and displays of arms and/or militia.

This coup d'etat was a covert takeover by the low profile beneficiaries inside the Military/Industrial complex and throughout the CIA. As subsequent events have proven since that date, Lincoln's vision of a 'government of the people, by the people and for the people' did, indeed, perish from this earth. If it was not the classic coup d'etat, we might have been better off if it had been. Our traitors are cowards who subvert us with secrecy, lies, and subterfuge. Some prefer the tyrant that can be seen to unseen 'spooks' who murder by stealth and proxy.

If Oswald had gone to trial, the 'magic bullet' might never have been debated --powerful motive to prevent such a trial. The 'magic bullet' theory is intended to deflect attention from the grassy knoll where JFKs killer fired a fatal shot to the front from behind the cover afforded him by a picket fence and a considerable foliage.

The attending staff at Parkland said that Kennedy's neck wound was an entry wound --not an exit wound; therefore JFK sustained at least two shots from the front. These are the truths that are highly inconvenient to the government and other proponents of the 'official' Oswald story. It is a 'story' that would have been consigned to the dust bin of history had Oswald lived and had the government been required to prove its absurd case against him.
Numerous witnesses described hearing a shot from that direction; others saw smoke.

What those witnesses saw was captured most dramatically by Abraham Zapruder. His film proves conclusively that the fatal shot [Frame 313] forces JFKs head backward and to the left. Secondly, it is clear that the limousine begins to slow from a forward speed of 9 MPH to 7.8 MPH at frame 310.

Frame 313 is undeniable and irrefutable. JFK was still alive when a powerful shot from the front exploded upon impact on the right side of the President's forehead, just above his right eye. As Dan Rather initially described the film: the head was knocked backward by the impact of a shot fired from the front . In Zapruder we witness the results of a gunshot wound from the front --not a whiplash from a limousine popping a wheelie.

The many official lies about JFKs murder have had the effect, in fact, of deflecting attention from real evidence that disproves the official narrative, real evidence that had it been followed up would most certainly have proven that Lee Harvey Oswald: 1) could not have fired the fatal shot; 2) was probably not even in the depository window at the time of the murder; 3) would have been ill-placed as a shooter even IF he had a part of the bigger conspiracy.

There are many reasons to discount every part of the official narrative, everything said by the government and the Warren Commission about the murder of JFK. There is only one reason people lie in cases like this: they do not wish you to know the truth. They do not wish you to suspect that a shooter in the grassy knoll would have had the best shot, the best chance to murder JFK. There is only one reason 'they' do not wish you to know or suspect this: the government itself was complicit with a grassy knoll shooter.

Otherwise, why is the government so threatened? Why are official conspiracy theorists so adamant, so intolerant, so insistent? How do idiots get so smart, so fast?

Having seen certified pictures of the so-called 'magic bullet', I find it hard to believe that the bullet had ever been fired, let alone slicing through flesh and smashing hard, dense bone as the government shills would have you believe. You can see pictures of the 'magic bullet' [CE 399, posted above; click for larger image] at the JFK LANCER. This is the very picture of pristine. It is highly doubtful that it had even been fired, let alone create multiple wounds and extensive bone damage. Secondly, Zapruder frame 230 proves that John Connally had not been hit by the same bullet that magic bullet theorists say struck JFK. On this point, the expert testimony of a pathologist may be seen in the second video in the playlist posted below.

The Warren Commission simply discounted anything that didn't fit officialdom. The magic bullet was concocted by Arlen Specter though he has no experience in forensics! My opinion is, at least, as good as his and most certainly less biased in favor of anything that might benefit the GOP, the MIC, or the CIA.

Specter may have hoped to deflect attention from the real source of the fatal bullet that struck JFK just above his right eye from the front. Specter may have hoped to paper over the holes. Specter's motives are relevant to the Warren Commission's credibility. If it was Specter's motive to cover up the truth by diversion, then he is guilty of obstruction of justice. Moreover, if the fatal shot came from the front the 'magic bullet' is just another establishment red herring at best, a federal crime at worst. It hinges upon Specter's motives.

The Magic Bullet was entered into the chain of evidence before it had been taken out of Connally's leg --evidence that the 'official magic bullet theory' was concocted in advance of the investigation. The 'state' was looking for anything that would shore up the cover. Real investigations are not conducted in this manner. But cover ups are! Indeed, even the FBI and the Secret Service stated in their separate reports that JFK and John Connally were struck by separate bullets.
A Warren Commission member expressed serious reservations about one of the panel's more controversial conclusions, the theory that a single shot wounded both President John F. Kennedy and Texas Gov. John Connally, a long-secret document has revealed. The "magic-bullet" theory was essential to the commission's conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald was a lone assassin.
Marked "confidential," the released document was a memorandum sent by commission member John J. McCloy to the commission's chief counsel, J. Lee Rankin. It was dated June 24, 1964, seven months after Kennedy's assassination in Dallas, and conveyed McCloy's critique of a draft of the final Warren Commission report.
"I think too much effort is expended on attempting to prove that the first bullet, which hit the president, was also responsible for all of Connally's wounds," McCloy wrote. (Note: the commas are not in the original.) "The evidence against this is not fully stated." He added that a section of the report dealing with the possibility of shots being fired at Kennedy's motorcade from an overpass was "not well done." Elsewhere, McCloy questioned the commission's account that a bullet found on a stretcher at Dallas' Parkland Hospital - where Kennedy and Connally were treated after being shot - was the "magic bullet." He wrote: "The statement concerning the bullet which was found on the stretcher is not particularly persuasive because there is no indication that the `stretcher bullet' was in fact the bullet which caused the [Connally] wrist wound."
The "magic-bullet" theory's importance to the conclusion that Oswald alone killed Kennedy lay in the number and timing of the shots fired at the president's motorcade. The commission concluded there was time for Oswald to fire no more than three shots and that he did, in fact, fire three times. One was said to have missed the presidential limousine entirely. A second - the fatal bullet - was said to have struck Kennedy in the back of the head. That left just one more bullet, but it was known that Kennedy also had been struck in the lower part of the back of his neck and that Connally had suffered wounds to his back, right wrist and left thigh.
--JFK Lancer
As relevant as these conclusions are, it is the fraudulent manner in which the 'magic bullet is introduced that makes this a case of obstruction of justice, possibly high treason to which Arlen Specter was complicit.

According to JFK Lancer, on March 20, 1964 the W. Commission took testimony of Darrell Tomlinson who found the bullet on a gurney in Parkland, Hospital. Incredibly, Tomlinson, was never shown CE-399 or asked to identify it as the bullet he found that day. Having Tomlinson ID the bullet would have confirmed the bullet's bone fides.

But that did not happen.

Like 911, the official cover story is built upon a demonstrable lie. Like 911, the official story was and remains pure bullshit! Like 911, the official cover story has had, in fact, the effect of shielding culprits who committed murder and high treason! Like 911, the culprits are found throughout and in positions of power in what is still called the 'government' of the United States. It is a government that repeatedly betrays the citizens, the sovereign people.

How many more lies have been puked up by the Warren Commission in order to cover up the truth about the cold, blooded murder of JFK?

Every crime is a matter of motive, method and opportunity. In this case, those who had the most powerful motives had the most powerful methods at their disposal. Those who wanted JFK dead had methods equal to their designs. They had the awesome power of the state on their side and they would use it in an act of treason against the state, the person of JFK and against the interests of the people who had placed JFK in office. This is murder on the most obvious level but on another it is an act of high treason. That some of these traitors still live and occupy high office is most certainly at the root cause of this nation's demise.

It is not unreasonable to conclude that planning for the JFK murder began with his historic inaugural address. Subsequently, he promised to smash the CIA into a 'thousand pieces'; he threatened to expose 'secret societies' and 'cults' that he believe posed a threat to the republic; he promised to abolish the FED. The nation, having endured the seemingly endless Viet Nam quagmire, abominable abrogations of Civil Rights, a war waged by the CIA and the FBI against civil liberties, it is easy to forget how revolutionary were JFKs words.
Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans—born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage—and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.
--John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961
Likewise, the entrenched establishment of about one percent of our own population could not have been happy with JFKs commitment to human rights.
To those peoples in the huts and villages across the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required—not because the Communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right. If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.
--JFK, Inaugural Address
In 1961, many powerful forces in and out of the US government would have felt threatened by JFKs commitment to the United Nations, a body still widely opposed and reviled by powerful forces inside the US.
To that world assembly of sovereign states, the United Nations, our last best hope in an age where the instruments of war have far outpaced the instruments of peace, we renew our pledge of support—to prevent it from becoming merely a forum for invective—to strengthen its shield of the new and the weak—and to enlarge the area in which its writ may run.
--JFK, Inaugural Address
And then JFK struck at the very source of an evil 'livlihood' --the Military/Industrial complex about which Dwight Eisenhower had but recently warned.
Let both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors.
--JFK, Inaugural Address
The MIC is simply not interested in the 'freedom of man'. Like the Mafia, the MIC is in the death business and, under regimes of Reagan, Bush Sr and Bush Jr, the nation itself has become Murder, Inc.
My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.
The MIC is not interested enough in the 'freedom of man' to bother reading the US Constitution. When Gen. Haydon was appointed to head up the CIA, it was obvious that he had never bothered to read the Constitution and was appallingly ignorant, lacking even a 7th grade knowledge of the Fourth Amendment. This was not surprising in the administration of one George W. Bush who had called the Constitution just a "Goddamned piece of paper!"

What has resulted from the cold-blooded murder of JFK, a murder that I believe was carried out largely by our own government? Certainly, the death of JFK seems to have ushered in the present era, dominated as it is by the right wing. For that reason, the faults of the Democratic party are not found in its opposition to the GOP but, rather, in its failure to oppose the GOP. Since 1980, the GOP simply ran rough shod for all but eight years.

The GOP --party to numerous treasons, lies and betrayals --confirm that the GOP is not a political party. The GOP is, rather, a criminal conspiracy, a syndicate, evincing symptoms of the very worst and evil cults. Comparisons to the Nazi party are not out of line; they are conservative. The GOP must bear the criminal responsibility for having subverted the US Constitution by fraud and force and, most recently and conspicuously aiding, abetting and facilitating the rise to power of George W. Bush whose legacy about whom it is charitable to state the obvious that he was this nation's very worst President ever.

Batshit Crazy

by Len Hart, The Existentialist Cowboy

Since 1980, US public life has been defined and dominated by three psychopathic personalities: Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush. It is no coincidence that the United States is poised upon the edge of an economic and moral abyss. Joining forces with the likes of the GOP is a Faustian bargain. It's midnight in America.
“A new CNN-Opinion Research Corp. poll found that only 27 percent of Americans approve of Bush’s job performance. [. . .]”

“The anti-Bush group argues that most of his major policies have failed, that people trusted him but he let them down, especially in the Iraq war, and that has been too arbitrary and inflexible. [. . .]”

“On the anti-Bush side, Angusr of CA wrote, ‘Of course he is changing his colors. He does not want to be indicted for war crimes.’ . . . [‘]It is no surprise to me that President Bush destroyed the nation’s resolve, economy, and status throughout the world.’ And a reader in Ohio wrote, ‘Bush is still an idiot.’”

--He's [Bush] Still Divisive
There is a measure of Schadefreude to be found in Bush's ignominious retreat from the absolute dictatorship that he had asserted with various stupid statements not the least of which remains: "The Constitution is just a goddamned piece of paper". Even so, it must be asked: why do the American people continue to 'elect' or facilitate election theft by the likes of a 'party' that is more accurately compared to crime syndicates and kooky, perverted cults.

One joining the GOP literally sells his soul. I can speak authoritatively on this point. I was offered lots of money to run for public office in my state, possibly State Rep or State Senate. I have never regretted saying no thanks! I might have ended up compromised and evil like Tom DeLay or George W. Bush. DeLay began his dubious career as a State Rep, gerrymandered the state, built up his 'machine'. At that point, he set his sites upon the US Congress. Kafka's character awakened as an insect but it cannot be said that he had planned to do so. DeLay, by contrast, was a roach killer who became a roach by choice. If as you follow someone you hear crunching noises you are obviously following a Republican who is molting.

Many folk who wind up in the GOP are just plain evil to begin with. These people, short sighted and utterly devoid of empathy, are attracted to a party of like-minded psychopaths who care nothing for anyone or anything but their own self-interests and greed which, they are taught, are 'good'. Recall the movie "Wall Street". The aptly named Gecko said: "GREED IS GOOD!"

GOP-types are in fact very fearful and insecure. They fear loss of property and status and will do anything to protect both. They are threatened by other 'classes' and resent improvements made by others in education or housing. The ascent of Ronald Reagan owed much to the many fears and insecurities of the GOP very rank and conformist file. About Reagan, a gopper opined: "he made us feel good about ourselves!" Upon hearing that, I suppressed the urge to puke. The remark was made from the floor of the GOP National Convention held in Houston in 1992.

GOP fears and insecurities manifest themselves as 'night terrors' and 'nightmares' which, as a study at Stanford University revealed are statistically high among the GOP. Those fears likewise manifest themselves in policies that are clearly of psychopathic origin, policies like aggressive war, imperialism and, most odious of all, state sanctioned murder and torture.
"Republicans have scarier and more frequent nightmares than Democrats concludes one prominent dream researcher. "Republicans are nearly three times as likely as Democrats to experience nightmares when they dream," Kelly Bulkeley, who teaches at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Calif., claims in findings to be released Wednesday at the 18th Annual International Conference of the Association for the Study of Dreams in Santa Cruz.

"Half of the dreams of Republicans in my study were classified as nightmares, compared to only about 18 percent of the dreams of Democrats," Bulkeley reports. While Republicans and Democrats may agree with the survey's results, they are divided on the causes of the GOP's troubled sleep. Both parties, however, blame the man at the top."

The presidency of Ronald Reagan benefited by the fact that the 'loyal opposition' was entirely too cooperative, entirely too willing to give Herr Reagan the benefit of doubt. It was widely believed, even among Democrats, that Reagan, though wrong, would, at least, govern in 'good faith'. In other words, Reagan, it was believed, would not tell a lie KNOWING that it was a lie. Reagan, it was believed, may have been wrong but sincere.

He wasn't! Reagan was like every other Republican, that is, a cultist, a psychopath, a liar. He differed from Bush only because he got away with it for longer. He was, after all, an actor. The 'Presidency' was his biggest role. Reagan could fake sincerity better than any other gopper, setting a standard that, with any luck, the GOP may never again match.

I submit that we embrace an earlier attitude, that is, there should be consequences for being wrong and greater consequences for being wrong knowingly but persisting in spite of it. While Reagan was never held to this austere standard of responsibility, George W. Bush has, at least, accomplished what the smooth talking gran'pa figure could never have done. Bush has demonstrated just how idiotic was the 'pass' given the GOP. Bush has proven conclusively that the GOP is the party of bad intentions and equally bad outcomes.

I would hope that in the world apres Bush, the American people will refuse to be fooled by propaganda and linguistic tricks like 'support the troops', a cynical focus group approved phrase designed to divide the nation into war hawks on the one hand and traitors of everyone else. The fact of the matter is this: you CANNOT support troops who are actively involved in the commission of war crimes. This is especially true of an all volunteer military. Did I support the troops in Iraq? Absolutely not! I was no more supportive of US troops perpetrating war crimes in Fallujah and elsewhere than I might have been of Nazis razing Lidice. Get real, folks! You don't have the luxury of having it both ways!

It may be helpful at this point to review the characteristics of sociopathic 'spellbinders' as they are sometimes called. Dean Lawrence R. Velvel has described Bush's many symptoms:
  1. rigid judgmentalism;
  2. irritability;
  3. impatience;
  4. grandiosity;
  5. obsessive thought patterns;
  6. incoherent speech;
  7. immense anger;
  8. exploitativeness;
  9. arrogance;
  10. utter lack of empathy;
  11. difficulties arising from relationships with his father (George H.W. Bush);
  12. not caring about the suffering of others;
  13. sociopathic behaviours;
  14. serial failures;
  15. lack of competence;
  16. alcohol problems;
  17. narcissistic personality;
  18. doing anything to protect his psyche from the destruction of being shown wrong;
  19. inability to feel guilt; etc.
You've read my take on Bush. Here's another 'indictment' that is even more damning.
George Bush’s presidency is the culmination of a lifelong history of sadistic practices that he must deny in order to maintain his fragile psychological equilibrium. Since childhood, Bush was labeled a bad child, a troublemaker, and a delinquent. He stuck firecrackers into frogs and exploded them; he shot and wounded his little brothers with a b-b gun; he branded fraternity pledges at Yale with red-hot coat hangers; he mocked others and was a verbal bully, irreverent about anything serious.

What do bad boys do when they grow up? They stop; they change. But Bush never stopped being a bad boy; he only did it in more subtle, arguably socially acceptable ways.

Now, as this bad-boy president prepares to leave office, many of his critics are pinning his failures on bumbling incompetence. The conventional wisdom holds that Bush is either a good hearted guy who got in way over his head—or the puppet of Dick Cheney. But if he were simply good-hearted he wouldn’t have mocked his own reasons for committing our young men and women to war; if he were a puppet, he was a puppet who chose his puppeteers. In my psychoanalytic exploration, the trail of destruction wrought by Bush over the last eight years is the direct consequence of handing a man with a destructive personality profile tremendous power.

What do bad boys do when they grow up? They change. But Bush never stopped.

Bush is leaving office immensely satisfied with his presidential accomplishments: Not merely wreaking havoc worldwide – actively destroying Iraq, and passively turning his back on New Orleans – he became feared both abroad and at home, where Congress and the press have yet to muster the courage to confront him. Now, the financial devastation of his policies seems to be hurtling the globe ever faster towards an economic Judgment Day.

The secret sadist in Bush greets all this as wonderful news, made even better by the possibility that he won’t get caught or punished, and that others will at least have to clean up his mess if they can. He may look and sound uncharacteristically sheepish of late, but his sense of self as president remains unchanged at its core. His primary concern remains self-regard, not history’s.

Evading responsibility has always been a central element of the pleasure he takes in the suffering of others. His evasion has taken many forms, from colluding with questioners to let him off the hook, asking “Ken who?” when asked about Enron’s Ken Lay, to making light of his cruel deeds, casually dismissing the fraternity branding as nothing worse than a “cigarette burn,” or insisting that the United States does not torture when confronted by reporters about Abu Ghraib.

Sadism serves purposes besides giving the sadist pleasure at the pain he inflicts on others. For Bush, the roots of his bad-boy sadism run deep. As a young boy, he identified with his harsh and often cruel mother, whose inability to provide necessary maternal early nurturing culminated in her withdrawal after George’s young sister’s illness and untimely death. He was a ruthlessly-teased, learning-disabled little boy who was criticized by teachers for not being able to keep up in class. And he was left behind by an emotionally distant father who reinforced the message from his mother that it was pathetic for a seven-year-old to show grief about his sister’s death. All of these factors contributed to an unrelenting self-hatred that made him feel weak and ashamed, things he tried to deny by posing as superior, exploiting weakness in others and becoming a bully. This process of externalizing his damaged sense of self, which he then attacked, became so strong later in life that it could only be partly managed by daily exercise and prayer.

--Justin Frank, Why Bush Loves Violence
Perhaps I am unfair to expect the vast majority of Americans to have seen through George W. Bush as I did. To be fair, the millions living outside the state of Texas could not have known or witnessed the wars waged by Bush upon the environment, education, the poor, the accused, in fact, anyone not living in River Oaks, Tom DeLay's Sugarland or some other Republican cultist ghetto. It's a jungle out there. I might be wrong to hold the American people responsible for not sizing Bush up. I could be wrong. But I don't think so.
The American people now know that George W. Bush can never be trusted. The United Nations is not stupid: Bush could not just “change his colors” and fool the United Nations into thinking that Bush had not committed war crimes. Bush is definitely an idiot.

--George W. Bush is the Worst President in US History
I had to read that twice. In other words, the American people --presumably among the best fed and best educated in the world (well, at least, the best fed) --required eight years of overt criminality, mass murder, torture, war crimes, incompetence, stupid public behavior and sheer idiocy before it learned that George W. Bush is an idiot??? If that is the case, then WHO is the idiot?
